In this beginner’s embroidery class we will be learning the stitches necessary to create a beautiful omamori charm sampler to bring luck to you throughout the year.

This design is inspired by New Year’s symbols from Japan. Omamori are small fabric charms bought from shrines to bring success and good luck. The pine branch symbolizes longevity. The senryo plant symbolizes good fortune and the chrysanthemum means rejuvenation.
