INSTRUCTOR: Rebecca Glazier
Rebecca has been knitting since she was 7 years old and has always had a love for textiles and colour. Teaching people how to knit and crochet expresses one of her greatest joys; sharing her creativity and passion with people. Originally from the UK, she has called Vancouver her home for the last 5 years.
I took my first knitting class with Rebecca back in May and I have been knitting since!
It gave me the confidence to figure out the basics and the support to explore some patterns on my own, first by using some knitting kits, then finding patterns on Ravelry and building my own kits for the projects I love - if you're curious how much progress I've made in just a few months, you can take a look at my projects https://www.ravelry.com/projects/trueskawka
Rebecca is a cheerful and supportive teacher, explaining the concepts clearly, finding ways to adjust it to any learner, by showing it in class, finding videos, recommending tutorials, and just being there to answer any questions. Even though it's a beginner class, it was still accessible and worked well on Zoom.
I don't think I would've made progress this quickly without being shown the ropes and I couldn't find a better teacher :)
