THIS IS AN ONLINE CLASS via ZOOM, so you will also need to have a decent internet connection and download the free ZOOM app. Instructions will be emailed before 1st class.
For knitters who are comfortable with the basics and are ready to take up the challenge of knitting a sweater. Perhaps you have taken the Beginner Sweater Class and are ready to dive into an adult size or you have a few sweaters on the go and need some guidance with new techniques presented within the pattern.
This class is not limited to sweaters! Bring your own project with a new skill you would like to master, and our teacher will work with you over 6 hours of class time to teach you the skills you need to succeed in its completion. Self-paced with the project of your choice, this is a class for knitters of all skill levels to try a new technique, while receiving help and feedback on their work-in-progress.
No need to abandon a project when help is less than a week away! Work with an amazing local designer Holli Yeoh to tackle a new pattern or project and master some new skills.
Materials Needed: Bring a pattern and materials as your project requires. Please call or email If you need help choosing a pattern or yarn a few days in advance of your class and our staff will be happy to help you.
Materials can be purchased at Baaad Anna’s Yarn Store. (Current Canada Post shipping turnaround is min one week, please be sure to order supplies with enough time for them to arrive before the start of class; OR call (604) 255 2577 for more immediate curbside pickup. We are currently open everyday, Mon-Tue from 11am-2pm and Wed thur Sunday 11am-6pm for in-store pickup and for boutique shopping.

Holli feels strongly about fine craftsmanship, believing that while there’s more than one right way to do things, it’s important to do it right! To this end, she teaches skills that enable knitters to feel justified pride in their finished objects, while accommodating different knitting styles and preferences. Students leave her workshops with an arsenal of valuable techniques, deep understanding of the choices to be made in knitting, and new confidence.
