The Spring Sorrel by Wool & Pine is the perfect spring knit. With the support of Rebecca, who you may have spotted wearing her gorgeous version during our Knit City Virtual Trunk show, you will create this beautiful addition to your wardrobe. 

Designed to accentuate your beautiful curves with a touch of negative ease in all the right places. This sweater is like a fresh spring breeze blowing through your closet, Spring Sorrel looks fabulous layered over your favorite spring dresses and flowy tops. ∼Wool & Pine

In this four part class you will tackle all the steps and techniques for a top down, circular yoke sweater. There will be a break between the second and third session to allow for knitting time. 

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

Skills Needed: Be able to knit and purl in the round.  

Materials Needed:

  • DK weight yarn in 500 (550, 600, 650, 700, 780, 850, 910, 980, 1010, 1080, 1150, 1200) yards
    455 (505, 550, 595, 640, 715, 775, 830, 895, 925, 985, 1050, 1097)meters.  Such as Chester Knits Soft Sport or Estelle SW Merino DK.
    • To fit bust 26 (30, 35, 38, 41, 45, 48, 51, 54, 57, 61, 63, 67)“
      66 (76, 89, 97, 104, 114, 122, 130, 131, 145, 155, 160, l70)cm. Recommended -4 to 0 negative ease.  Please contact us if you have any questions on sizing.
  • US 3 (3.25mm) 16" circular or double pointed needles
  • US 5 (3.75mm) 16"-40" circular or double pointed needles
    • Or needle size to obtain gauge 20 sts x 30 rows in US 5 reverse stockinette = 4" x 4" on larger size. 
  • Stitch Markers

Minimum 3 participants and max 8.

Dates: Tuesdays June 1, 8, 22 and July 6th from 6:00-7:30pm PDT.  Please note June 15 and 29th off for knitting time.

INSTRUCTOR: Rebecca Glazier​

Rebecca has been knitting since she was 7 years old and has always had a love for textiles and colour. Teaching people how to knit expresses one of her greatest joys; sharing her creativity and passion with people. Originally from the UK, she has called Vancouver her home for the last 5 years.
