The Chester family began breeding and development of the Targhee/Columbia Sheep in the late 1990's to produce a high-end, luxury fiber and after nearly ten years in development the traditional wool line was born.  This fiber creates a yarn  that blends together loft and softness. The spinning process and the breed of sheep this wool comes from makes it durable and machine washable without chemical process. It becomes softer with each washing. Does not felt easily. Made in the USA.
