Ready to knit your first sweater?? The Flax Worsted by Tin Can Knits is a simple classic raglan sweater that comes with clear pattern tutorials and helpful app support.

Over 5 classes spaced out over 2 months, you will be guided through each step of constructing a top down knitted sweater. With sizes ranging from 0-6 months to adult 6XL, the choice is yours.

Techniques Learned: Collar & cuff ribbing; raglan yoke shaping; German short rows (optional); splitting for the sleeves & body, finishing & blocking.

Prerequisites:

Advanced Beginner / Novice knitting skills; Student need to be able to cast on, knit, purl & cast off.

Materials Needed:

Materials can be purchased at Baaad Anna’s Yarn Store.

DATES: Wednesdays, February 4, 11, 25, March 11 and 25th from 6:00-8:00 pm.

COST: $135.00 (+tax) Materials not included

Minimum 3 participants and maximum 6

Refunds or Credit for future classes will only be provided if we are notified either by phone, email or in person at least 72 hours in advance of the class or workshop.

We request you do not attend the class if you are feeling unwell, please note, partial class refund is not available, and the 72 hour cancellation policy applies.

Jackie is an avid knitter, fibre artist & teacher. She appreciates how knitting keeps your brain sharp while still being so meditative, restorative and creative. She loves teaching knitting to new students and sharing all the helpful tools, tips and tricks she’s learned over the years.
