Ready to knit your first sweater?? The Flax Worsted by Tin Can Knits is a simple classic raglan sweater that comes with clear pattern tutorials and helpful app support.

Over 5 classes spaced out over 2 months, you will be guided through each step of constructing a top down knitted sweater. With sizes ranging from 0-6 months to adult 6XL, the choice is yours.

Techniques Learned: Collar & cuff ribbing; raglan yoke shaping; German short rows (optional); splitting for the sleeves & body, finishing & blocking.

Prerequisites:

Advanced Beginner / Novice knitting skills; Student need to be able to cast on, knit, purl & cast off.

Materials Needed:

• Pattern: Flax Worsted by Tin Can Knits available for free on Ravelry or TCK Website.
• Yarn: Worsted/Aran weight yarn such as Cascade 220, Cascade Eco+ or Cascade Anthem in the amount needed for your chosen size.
• Needles: a set of each of the following (or size to obtain gauge)for the adult XS to XL.
  
  • 16”, 32” circulars, and DPNs* in each size:
    • 4mm (US 6)
    • 5mm (US 8)
  • *Magic loop technique with a single 32" circular needle can be used in place of DPNs if familiar and with the technique.
    
• Stitch markers 
• Measuring tape
• Scissors
• Darning needle
• Pen

Materials can be purchased at Baaad Anna’s Yarn Store.
