This is a one day workshop that will open up a world of creativity and leave you with the skills and materials needed to continue on your fibre arts journey.

Participants will learn how to set up and use the equipment from warping, different stitches and techniques to finishing a beautiful tapestry piece.

Suitable for beginners, no prior weaving experience needed.

Materials (INCLUDED): Participants will receive an Ashford Weaving Frame and all the materials needed to create your own four colour tapestry.

INSTRUCTOR: Ji Choi

Ji's weaving journey started during her university years using a variety of sizes of weaving frames and shaft looms. She has been working on frame weaving creations from little mats to huge wall hangings with different weaving techniques and diverse fibre materials. She is also a knitter and potter who studied Digital Craft Arts, which was a combination of fibre, ceramics, and metal crafts.
