Needle felting is quick and fun way to create three dimensional fibre art pieces. Mel has years of experience working with all ages and will teach teach the basics of needle felting in a colourful, creative and playful workshop.

Prerequisites: None; this class is intended for kids between the ages of 8-14; bring a friend!

All Materials Included: Includes fibre roving for a project, felting needle and felting foam block to keep.

JULY DATES: Monday July 21st from 9:30-11:00am ~or~

AUGUST DATES: Thursday Aug 28th from 9:30-11:00am.

COST: $4o (+tax) Includes materials.

Minimum 3 and maximum 10 participants. 

Full refund offered if class minimum does not fill by 4 days prior to class. Each session has limited openings so registration specifically to these workshops is non-refundable. However, it can be transferred to another child for the same date.

INSTRUCTOR: Mel Broome

Mel is a natural ambassador for felting, touting portability as one of its greatest assets, as well as the fact that it’s suitable for broad ranges of age and ability. She takes her felting with her wherever she goes and finds it an easy conversation starter and way to connect with people.
