Tracing its way through the Cascade Mountains is the infamous Highway Thru Hell, otherwise known as the Coquihalla or, as locals call it, “the Coq”. This snowbound highway roughly follows the route of the former Kettle Valley Railway, connecting the coastal rainforest of BC’s Lower Mainland with the desert climate of its interior.
This extra-long, cozy cowl is knit in the round with twisted rib borders, a panel of twisted cables running up the side, and all around stockinette. It may be worn folded in half, pulled up over your head, or bunched around your neck.
YARN/YARDAGE: DK-weight yarn approx. 500 - 550 yards (457 - 503 m)
GAUGE: 22 st / 4” in stockinette, after blocking.
