The ball of yarn will spin freely in the bowl when knitting. The heavy bottom prevents the yarn bowl from moving around, so it stays nice and steady even if the yarn is pulled. There are three holes for extra colours of yarn or for resting the knitting needles in when you are not knitting.

The yarn bowl is made from stoneware clay and glazed with a white food safe glaze.
