The original Speedweaver or Speedweve, was produced in England in the 1940s and 1950s. The original concept was to provide a simple and easy tool to mend clothing during WWII on the homefront.

Today, this modern remake features the same design suitable for darning, mending, and adding flair to your garments.

There are two basic components to this mending loom:

• Wooden disk to hold the fabric in place with rubber bands
• 14 metal hooks to hold the vertical threads while the horizontal threads are woven with a needle. The hooks are flipped alternately left and right.
