THIS IS AN ONLINE CLASS via ZOOM, so you will also need to have a decent internet connection and download the free ZOOM app. Instructions will be emailed before 1st class.

Have you been thinking of trying brioche, but not ready to sign up for a full project class? Then this quick Summer Snack session is for you! In this class we will demystify the "sl1yo" technique and you will learn both one and two colour brioche knitting!

Skills required: Cast on, bind off, knit and purl.

Materials Needed:

  • Two colours of DK or Worsted weight yarn, preferably something smooth. 20g/45 yards (40m) of each is plenty. We recommend solid colours and high contrast.
  • Needles: One size smaller than recommended on ball band - either DPN's or circular needles
  • Homework - a very small amount of homework to be completed before the class, will be sent upon registration.

Materials can be purchased at Baaad Anna’s Yarn Store(Current Canada Post shipping turnaround is min one week, please be sure to order supplies with enough time for them to arrive before the start of class; OR call (604) 255 2577 for more immediate curbside pickup. We are currently open seven days a week from 11-6pm!

COST: $35 (plus tax)

Minimum 3 participants and max 8.

DATE: Tuesday June 21st from 6:00-8:00pm PT.

INSTRUCTOR: Rebecca Glazier​

Rebecca has been knitting since she was 7 years old and has always had a love for textiles and colour. Teaching people how to knit expresses one of her greatest joys; sharing her creativity and passion with people. Originally from the UK, she has called Vancouver her home for the last 5 years.
