Locally sourced yarn from a local fibre mill in the North Okanagan region of BC.
Shelterwood Fibre Company is a small, family-run fibre mill located in the North Okanagan region of beautiful British Columbia.
Their mission is to create high-quality, regionally and responsibly sourced natural fibre products. In sourcing from and providing service to local fibre producers, they aim to add value to the local fibre production economy.
This yarn combines the durability of Romney wool with the cloud-like softness of alpaca and Rambouillet fibres, creating a yarn that feels as beautiful as it looks. The soft pink hue is a result of blending of natural white alpaca and hand-dyed sheep's wool, delivering subtle variegation and rich depth that brings dimension to every stitch. Perfect for garments that are durable and cozy.
